- Preference is given to students enrolled in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health
The scholarship was created through the generosity of alumni, friends and colleagues of Ralph Geeseman (1942-2009) who devoted 39
years of service to the University of Illinois Department of Kinesiology. He provided invaluable support to faculty and students.
Ralph was proud not only of his affiliation with Illinois, but also of his service in the U.S. Navy. Therefore, this scholarship was
created to support AHS students who are affiliated directly or indirectly with those serving our country through the U.S. Military.
